About doodleism and me

Hi! I'm Jordi and I'm the illustrator behind Doodleism. I'm from Catalonia and I've spended all my life drawing. I live with my wife, Laura, and my two kitties in Barcelona downtown. Probably you are gonna talk with her sooner or later, because she gives me a hand sometimes answering mailing or with social networks. Having a own business is a lot of work!

I love to draw, I've been drawing since I can remember and being available to make a living like that is a dream come true! I draw a lot of difference things and I use different styles. My influences go from Manga, that I used to read when I was a teenager, with artists like Katsuhiro Otomo o Akira Toriyama, to the David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick, Cohen brothers or Wes Anderson's films, through the awesome artwork of illustrators like Daniel Clowes, Moebius, Peter Bagge or the fantastic TV shows like Stranger Things, Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Six feet under or Twin Peaks. 

My work in Doodleism is everyday a challenge, is because of that I enjoy making your portraits a lot! And love to talk with you and met, even it was just a little bit, people all around the world! :)
